Devlog 7: mid production sprint 2



We're here again! Devlog 7, the middle of sprint 2.

After a 2 week break we're back with another update to the game. This week we made: 

- the hud


- pause menu

-settings menu that controls the sounds, display settings and some other graphics settings

- fixed some annoying things with the enemy ai

There were some annoying things that were still in there such as: the weapons were still floating around when the enemies were dead, when the enemy was in it's dying animation it was teleporting back to it's idle animation, the enemy was still attacking the player when it was dead. Those bugs are now all fixed. 

- added player feedback with sounds and controller vibrations

We added sounds for the footsteps, a swoosh for the weapons and controller feedback when the player gets hit. 

- made virtual keyboard so players can type their name to save their high score

 
- made a final level where the player has to fight the final enemies
- put the traps back into the levels where they were removed due to a bug
- implemented the time freezing mechanic so the player doesn't die when there are no enemies or while in the main menu
- tuned the player attacks so they feel more fluent and changed max health to a more appropriate amount
- fixed some bugs with level streaming

- we're using smaller textures now (8x8 instead of 1024x 10240)

- some of the new assets
